I have been trying to play Overgrowth with my friend, but ever since the 198 update, I have not been successful. The xbox controller when hooked up controls the same character that the keyboard controls. How can I fix this or change the xbox controller to p2.

This will happen if your computer detects ANY other kind of controller that it could recognize. Do you have any other USB peripherals, or joystick emulators? You might try unplugging those, and run the game again.

I have some razer peripherals but it doesn't change that. Any other ways? I have no other wired controllers.

It doesn't have to be wired. It can be emulated too. When Overgrowth starts, look in the console for SDL joysticks found. If the number is greater than 1, your computer thinks you have more controllers. I know there are some emulators to make a keyboard act like a joystick, do you have anything like that?

I don't think I have anything like that. The value of sdl joysticks is 1. Also I have MotioninJoy for emulating my ps3 controller as anything, keyboard, or even xbox controller. Would that work?

MotioninJoy definitely works for other people. What happens when you try to use it?

Using MotionInJoy I managed to get the xbox controller to be player 2, but it still didn't work, the xbox controller just didn't even do anything.
