Alpha 207 not launching on Mac

I love Overgrowth, and since I use mac for work, I find it more convenient to play it on mac, rather than rebooting. It has always worked well, but when I downloaded alpha 207, it just crashes whenever I launch the game. (Error Message: http://pastebin.com/4EEiALP6 ) Any ideas what is wrong? I have tried restarting my computer.

did you update the alpha using sum launcher or did you download a fresh alpha from spf or steam?

no, the alpha number text in game files says a207 but it is still a206

sum launcher currently breaks the new alpha when used to update from a### to a206(aka,a207)

I actually tried both already. Nothing works. As soon as I launch ANY level it just crashes.

Have you also tried to enable steam advanced testing feature?

Because Steam automatically downloads updates to every user, I am trying out doing an advance build of Alpha 205 to sanity-check it, and make sure it still works. If you would like to try this, please go to your Steam library, right-click Overgrowth, choose Properties, then Betas, and opt into "advance_testing". It should automatically download the new build changes

David says in his twitter, that he put recently out a new test build for steam, that can only be download through advance test. Maybe it helps, who knows.

do you have the steam version? I use the steam advance testing branch version mostly and the game work fine for me, have not tried the stand alone version too much with a206 though.

I would try the steam advanced testing branch and see if it helps
