Overgrowth Cursor

For some reason when I open overgrowth, my cursor does not switch to the special overgrowth cursor, and I can't click on anything. I tried restarting my computer, deleting cache files, restarting steam, and uninstalling and reinstalling overgrowth. Unfortunately, the reinstallation just caused me to get the message at the custom level section of the main menu: "The main menu was replaced during a recent alpha update... Once the patch has been released simply run the SUMLauncher to receive it." When I open the SUMLauncher and Launch Overgrowth, nothing changes. Nothing changes when I open the Community Content window either, nor if I delete cache files. I'm very confused and frustrated now that I can't do anything to my Overgrowth even though I would like to edit my new map post.
