Final version.
how long time we need to wait, to see the final version of overgroth ?
Re: Final version.
Years.
Unless they actually hire people and the rhythm dramatically speeds up. In this optimistic scenario my guess is at least a year and a half.
In any case, it's still a cool game as it is. Mess around with mods and multiplayer and you'll have lots of fun.

Don't question wolfire sehiro. David is hiring people as you might already know
Re: Final version.
People wouldn't complain about these things if Aubrey or David had regular blogposts talking about the kinds of things they were doing
I bet 90% of overgrowth preorderers don't even know a Lugaru port is coming

I find it a bit weird that people would preorder an alpha and not actually try to stay up to date.Blackavar wrote:People wouldn't complain about these things if Aubrey or David had regular blogposts talking about the kinds of things they were doing

While they definitely aren't secret, they are 30 minute videos that are a pain to crawl through sometimes.EPR89 wrote: The Q&A sessions aren't exactly secret.

Of people are not interested in keeping up with the information, they have no right to complain about lack of information.underthedeep wrote:While they definitely aren't secret, they are 30 minute videos that are a pain to crawl through sometimes.EPR89 wrote: The Q&A sessions aren't exactly secret.
Actually, I really don't understand why someone would invest in an alpha, if they have no interest in following it.
Re: Final version.
The basic information everyone asking about when the game will be finished needs:

The information is there, a lot of people are just too lazy to sit through it. While it makes sense, it would be nice if they gave a summary of updates, or say maybe some bullet points and what not. Surely you cannot argue that the engagement to the community could use some TLC.
All that being said, watching the development and playing through it is the fun part for me at least. I do a serious eye roll to people who have purchased a few months prior and are bashing on how slow the development is.
Re: Final version.
we should just give future posts like this the three links i posted above underthedeeps post and leave those posts alone. i think we're giving them too much attention. more than they deserve.
