Hello !

I have this error when I try to run A63!

"Application start fail because side-by-side configuration is incorrect"...

I have installed:
MS VC++ 2005 x86 & x64
MS VC++ 2008 x86 & x64

My computer:
Windows 7 (64bits)
4 GB Ram
Nvidia 8800 GT

¿Waht I can do?

WinXP here, OG pops up an error message instead of starting. The error message was in Finnish and I'm not sure if it'd be the same one in here, though...

I downloaded Windows version from Mirror 1, if that matters.

It still doesn't work.
Funny though, how the download is a 2005 SP 1 :P

I also tried installing the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 with no luck.

Another thing, just to make this clear, the a62 worked just fine.

I have the same problem... I have XP SP3... older versions works like a charm

Same issue here. 59 worked fine for me.

Seems to be the OpenMP library?

(and I did update the VS 2005 service pack. I also have VS 2008 installed.)

A61 loads with some non-fatal errors

A62 and A63 gives the "side by side" error ...

Implementing the "fix" (i have no idea what that is ... LOL Edit: ok i understand what happened now ...)

Now A63 gives the same errors as A61 ... the only difference is what was now line 417 is now line 438 ...

The visual effects seem to be missing terrain (collision works as well as shadows cast on the terrain, but the terrain is clear)

My PC specs:

Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 (64 bit OS)
AMD Turion 64-bit Mobile Technology 1.6Ghz
2Gb ram

(i know this is a bit on the weak side, but i was curious as to what OG could do on lower end PC's)
