For the longest time, I couldn't extract .RAR files. This was years after I had known what .zip files were, mind you. The computer only had .ZIP extractor, and I didn't understand the verbs in the FAQ I tried to read. I think I believed that a RAR was something like a ROM or ISO file that needed a specific emulator to run.last wrote:OK, i don't want to do this, but really? I can only blame schools and parents for this, not teaching basic computer knowledge.
Or maybe he's just to young to understand how to use computers other than play games and surf on the facebook/youtube or just in the internet.
This would probably have been in the early 2000s.
