[MAP] Excavation Site

Post by t2vanden » Tue Feb 21, 2012 12:55 am

Here's my map, a small little work of effort. Not incredibly large but relatively high-detail and action oriented. It's got four enemies, a few vertical levels of depth, and a theme set around an excavation site of precious metals. Sorry for no screencaps, seems all I can get are screengrabs of my desktop behind Overrun. If someone would just trust me it's good and try it out, I'd love if someone could provide screenshots for me. Overwise, once I figure it out, I can throw them up. Enjoy. (don't forget to generate the shadows, ambient occlusion, and the navs, it really makes a difference)

Here's the map file!

(ps. if this made it into the Main Menu Mod, well, I'd be overjoyed)

And... done.

The detail is pretty cool. I like this level. It's definitely a challenge with so many weapons out there... Just so you know, you can attach a weapon to a character the same way that you connect the waypoints. So, select a weapon, then hold alt/opt (win/mac) then click on a character. That character will be holding the weapon by default when the level starts.

Awesome! Thanks for the shots, and the inclusion in the mod! Also, thanks for the tip, I had no idea you could do that. I think I want to try my hand at a parkour map next...
