Post by samjb1992 » Sun Jan 12, 2014 6:41 pm

these are the steps to get a mod manually installed on a mac computer.

Step 1. get a mod from the modding sub-fourm of the spf.

Step 2. now that you have the mod downloaded and unzipped you can see there is file system.
e.g. Data/Custom/samjb1992/modnamehere

so what you need to do is find your games data folder.

how do you do that?
you can do it one of 2 ways:
1.use a tool call SumLauncher and go links, open data folder.

2. you go to the location where you installed Overgrowth and right click on the app,
and choose "show package contents" from the drop down menu.

now goto contents,MacOS,Data:

Step 3.
now that you have the data folder open you can install your mod.
to do so we need to use the folder system takes about earlier.

so you need to open the mod folders and match them with the folders in the data folder with same name, then merge those folders.

What if one of the folders from the mod does not match any folder in the data folder?
well you need to create it then. do this by copying the said folder from the mod and paste it into the same place in the data folder.
