[MAP] Super Smash Bros N64
A couple levels from Super Smash Bros N64!
My N64 finally gave out on me a couple days ago, and I decided to see how a couple levels would look in Overgrowth! I used models/textures from the game (no external for easier downloads), so it's not perfect -- but it gets the job done in my books!
When you first spawn into the level, you will have to hit your 'k' key to get the platforms moving. In case you forget, it reminds you in the level as well
Dependencies:
I'm assuming these ones, I have no idea how to check if these are for sure since I didn't load the game for the first time before I had all of Anton's fixes/expansions from the SUMlauncher
Available on the SUMlauncher:
Skyboxes 1.0.0
Painted Skyboxes 1.0.0
Fixes 1.0.0
Unlocked Default Levels 1.0.1
Available from the forums only:
Jay_Jay11's moving platform script, found here:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25439
Used with his permission of course, he has links up on how it works for those who want to try it! It's very easy to learn and can spice up your levels!
STORY:
There isn't one! This is just where I made each of the sets, when I finished I decided to add in some enemies to see how they react in the environment (they don't like to jump unfortunately). I'll be releasing each map as a VS level when I get around to it, should be within a couple days of this post. I'll release them all at once in one .rar file to keep it simple. Run through this with a friend if your computer can handle it!
MAP:
Very little parkour, only to transition between sets really. 10 enemies at last count, they get progressively harder (modeled after the difficulty levels in SSB). As always, try to get through this in one full run (the last guy makes it pretty difficult).
Currently no weapons on the map, but I'm sure you know how to change that (lightsabers are fun viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16683&p=176485&hili ... er#p176485)

Re: [MAP] Super Smash Bros N64
Thanks for the props! Enjoy
I'll edit the post soon with each set on it's own, but it's looking like it's either a versus map with no moving platforms or moving platforms without the versus counter because I have to use the moving objects script.
So... I'm figuring out which is the best path to take. It'll be up by Monday.
Cheers

Actually, you can do both scripts. It's not hard, but I don't exactly remember how to do it.SirFuzzy wrote:Thanks for the props! Enjoy

I've been trying to figure it out, I think I might have it. If you know a way that would be appreciatedTimbles wrote:Actually, you can do both scripts. It's not hard, but I don't exactly remember how to do it.SirFuzzy wrote:Thanks for the props! Enjoy

I'm bogged down with my real job right now unfortunately, haven't been able to game at all for the last bit. My boss comes back on the 15th which will drop my work load, until then I'm afkiDubbbz wrote:were you able to fix anything?SirFuzzy wrote:Sorry for the delay, I went on a last minute vacation. If someone else wants to whip it together be my guest, if not I'm putting as much time into it as I can spare (which is very little), sorry.

I cant find this anywhere on the launcher, did you put it in there or is it only on the forums?

Forums only, I can ask to have it put onto the SUMLauncher if you'd like. Just download the file from here and put it into /levelsFr0zen wrote:I cant find this anywhere on the launcher, did you put it in there or is it only on the forums?

I cant load the level because it says I need "Data/Textures/Plants/Trees/lugaru/cypress_branch_c.tga"
Re: [MAP] Super Smash Bros N64
This version of the map/mod/addon is outdated. Either downgrade or politely request an update. (you can't be an advance testing or any of those features wont work for mods and if u dont know what im talking about just skip this) You could also try to make it yourself.
