update: it compiles *yaaaaay*

some things are commented out, because i dont know how to do them (a sound and setting ik targets)
and it is not called by anything yet, so it does absolutely nothing

im not really good at github, this is what it looks like to me:
githubscr.JPG
i think you need to accept these changes now?
i cant make a pull request as i do not seem to have it in my repositories...

do you know where to put the function calls in the aschar.as, or is that something that needs to be checked out?

also this was the latest working version, right?: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=12064 i pulled quite a lot of code from it

ahh so i would have to synch it now which i cant because i dont have permission to push the changes.

so either you give me permission or i make an own branch and create a pull request, which you then accept (or not)

Huh, this strange thing is happening on A227 for me right now...

I installed this mod I found here (https://github.com/kavika13/og_flying_mod), hit "F", and suddenly my jump kick acts strangely.

Still have to fix the skeleton animation stuff when you swoop in on em. You fly em around with your knees (sorta) right now. I can't really look at that until at least monday, if anyone feels like taking a crack at it :)

Also, anyone know already where to find the Bat and Bird models as shown in the flying mod's videos?

It's by 'lepetitdocteur' (I think that might be spelt wrong)
Characters are Tengu and Kamazots (or something like that... It's 5am... I'm tired)

kavika, you're a goddamn legend.

vallejo18, thank you so much for starting this. If it weren't for you two, this wouldn't have happened.

I wouldn't have thought to do it if it the others hadn't taken stabs at it first, and I certainly couldn't have done the mod from scratch. I am just good at applying patches across versions of software, lol.

There's still a skeletal animation bug (you drag em around by your knees). Any pull requests will be promptly reviewed for inclusion and are greatly appreciated.

Anyone else have a challenge swooping w/ the current physics/collision settings? Or is it just me trying to play the flying mod on a touchpad? ;)

My mods dont seem to appear in the mods section.
I saw that you had made some progress over the holiday break. How is that looking, and is it possible to put up some changes to the github that was made?
Only progress i made was it at least recognizing the flying mod as an independent flying mod and I did not have to make any changes to the aschar or even include a physical version of the aschar mod into the flyingmod folder mostly because I was using it in conjunction to the multi-script mod. Otherwise, nothing too different than what I have uploaded on github

I am sorry, i sometimes fade in and out of this, but i see someone got it somewhat working, and yea if you still want to make a jab at it, I originally wanted to work with controllers and keyboard and adjustable and not only keyboard keys, which is why I want to assign it to action rather than keys. But yea you should have permission now.

I have updated the stand-alone flying mod to avoid having an impact on the game physics and animations until you activate flying mode. The new version is up on github, so if you simply redownload the A227 release you will get the changes I've made.

https://github.com/kavika13/og_flying_mod/releases

This version does modify aschar.as and aircontrols.as, so it isn't very version independent.
