Making Spiky armor to impale people

I need help if theres a chance to put the spikes from the spiky arena on your back so if Npcs make contact with the spikes on your back they will bleed and may die just like how they do in the arena. Unfortunately whenever I put the spikes on my character, It just turns into a decoration, making it just for looks and doesn't kill on contact. Is there any scripting that I could do to make it work if possible.

i believe attachments can not have scripts at this point
