Project Showoff

Post by Alpharius » Mon Dec 27, 2010 11:32 pm

I'm not sure if theres any thread for this yet (if there is feel free to post a link), but I wanted to make a thread for anybody who wants to show off their work in progress or any thing they've done so far in the builds. ( animations, levels, custom objects, texture ect.) I'd post some of my stuff (as lame as it is lol) but I dont know how to take screenshots....

If you are on Windows, you can press the PrtScr (=Print Screen) button in your keyboard, and then Ctrl+V (paste) in any image editor, e.g. MS Paint, Irfanview, Photoshop.

There are a few topics where people post stuff they've made, but no general showoff thread, until now...

Hmm... 3 takes a whole screen shot? 4 does window only?

EDIT: It's Command-Shift-4 and then Spacebar to get a window.

Command-Shift-4 is capture selection. Hitting spacebar selects the active window, or you can drag a box around what you want to capture.

Hehe...perhaps you should upload the image first.

I use Image Shack http://imageshack.us/

You can upload attachments to this forum. There's a small "upload attachment" tab under the submit button. I find that much easier to use than image upload sites.

What have you been doing for the smithy? Concept art, 3D stuff? I tried doing something similar last January. There are more images in the thread below. The models are all still mostly untextured, but I'm going practice proper texturing this spring so that will probably change.
