Low performance

Even though my computer is old and slow, Receiver seems to be running much slower than it should with these graphics. Also, I can't seem to use lower than my desktop resolution in fullscreen mode. Is there any way to customize the settings beyond the presets and to change resolution in fullscreen mode?
