Flashlight error Please Help

I have been having an odd problem with the flashlight, it emits no light. I have re downloaded the game multiple times with no change.
I have an MSI laptop with a 780M GTX graphics card. I think it might be a compatibility issue with the new generation of Nvidia cards (700 series) Any help would be much appreciated.
