Well, that was unexpected
Was playing a longer game of three players last night when a random joined near the end and clicked "restart game" undoing everything. I'm sure there'll be fixes for that sort of behavior but for now how do we go about finding people to play DG privately with? How are you guys setting up your games?

Re: Well, that was unexpected
You could join the steam group or the Wolfire IRC and set up a protected game. What I normally do is just play with my friends and set a password.
Re: Well, that was unexpected
Solution would be a "voting system" It adds to the realism of the game too as i wouldn't let anyone end a current game and start over without me having a say in the decision. Rules like this could also be serverside.
Re: Well, that was unexpected
I have a solution. This is what I do:
Make a non-password server titled "Looking for a 1v1 (or 3- or 4-player game, whatever)." Wait until people join (who aren't greifers), then tell them a password and a name. Leave, make a new server with that password and name and wait for them to join again. Problem solved!
Make open server
Title it "Looking for 1v1"
No Password
When someone joins, tell them:
"Password: blah. Name: blahblah."
Leave
Make protected server.
Title it "blahblah"
Password: Blah
