Board game maker using this game?

How easy would it be to allow users to change the pictures that the game board and cards are using, put a few dozen game pieces and allow users to determine the quantity of pieces and change the color of the pieces?
This would essentially allow people to make and recreate almost any board game with a similar format using this darn cool game. It would also be a freaking amazing board game prototyping tool. Just download a grid from google images, draw some words or shapes on it and put it in a modular version of this game.
Only real problem here is that to test the game with other people, you would have to share a mouse, but that could be fixed by simple creating a mod folder to allow for different custom game modes, so you could just send the folder to a friend and you guys could play over LAN.
