...So when you have _less_ air in your lungs, you breathe out _more_? Nice.

Sh.

It's a sign he can't hold his breath for much longer, the blubs are just the air escaping his lungs.

So it should be reversed, or he should start going blue in the face when he's low on air. :P

But you can't really see his face while you're playing...

Well you don't pay much attention to his face or to tiny bubbles... so the bubbles idea is out. And i guess the oxygen bar wouldn't work either... maybe David can make it so that when you start running out of oxygen turner starts breathing and causes huge bubbles- not tiny ones but the kind that happen when you first jump into a pool and there's a big spiral ripple.

I think what invertin means is that the bubbles are the result of the I-Need-Air reflex, combined with the Water-Is-Not-Air-Don't-Breathe-In reflex.

Instant Replay - After doing some insane move/combo/chainsaw slice, it would be sweet to pause, watch it again (from various angles), edit it, save it, then post it to YouTube.

Weapon Ideas - Random items can be used as weapons or tools:
- Sticks (could also be set on fire for light and extra damage)
- Rocks
- Bottles (can also be made in Molotovs)
- Tables and Chairs

and remember. it doesn't have to be fancy. I'd COMPLETELY satisfied if it just let you re watch it and maybe save as a quicktime movie. that's all.

Hasn't there already been mention of some kind of integrated youtube uploader?

I think we need a stickied thread with the name "THIS IS WHAT
WE KNOW ABOUT LUGARU 2 SO FAR".

Read this thread: http://www.wolfire.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=32651
Especially page 2.

I think your helmet in Lugaru 2 should be able to get whacked off your face and be really easy to put back on. It would be neat if your helmet was really important, like if you had a steel helmet on it would stop pretty much all of the damage from getting hit in the face by a bo, and also the bo should break apart on your head much faster now because it is hitting against metal.

The helmet (or certain helmets) should also be held loosely on your body, like a weapon. So that if you got hit to the side of your head with a giant mace your helmet would get knocked off, and at the end of the battle, or when you have time during the fight you could pick it up and put it on really fast without hitting an inventory screen.

Helmets completely stopping bo staff damage: BAD

If someone whacks you round the head with a big stick, and you've got a helmet on, it still hurts.

Everything else: WIN

Armor will really help against slashing attacks, but will have little effect on blunt impacts. The purpose of armor is to spread out impacts over a larger surface area, it can't actually weaken a blow. A helmet might protect your nose or eyes, but can't reduce blunt trauma to your neck and brain.

Thus, maces and hammers are good against armored opponents, but since they're slower a sword, which is much quicker, is favorable against lightyl armored opponents.

Correct?
