Knowing how much David has probobly researched of other games, Im expecting Powerful AI on Hard mode. I could Imagion AI ducking behind a Crate and moving another crate infront of himself to keep hidden, and fireing from an odd angel so you cant fire back at him.

lol the second i saw that it made me laugh.

Anyways, yeah, that would be awesome, The AI in lugaru needs some more dynamics, like fright, and cautiousness.

I should really make an animation incorporating Colicedus's almost AYBABTU-like grammar and stuff.

Ok, here's a random idea I had while stabbing a bunny in the neck... It would be really cool when you give the finishing stab with the knife, if you could do a key combo or something and you would plunge the knife right in the top of the head. They sink to their knees, then you break the handle off like in the Chronicles of Riddick . Unfortunately, you can't use the knife after that, but if it was the last enemy, it would be extremely satisfying.

I think I remember something similar being suggested, and seem to remember that one thing that made lugaru different was it's lack of key combos, but still a finishing move like that would be cool.

Key combos ARE possible y'know. You need the right timing and amount of enemies though. Finishing moves rock my socks off- maybe some coding that tells you if it's the last enemy in the level (excluding bosses of course)

I didn't say key combos weren't possible I just said that one of the things that made lugaru different was that it didn't have key combos

We already have finishing moves, Ragdoll. If someone is close you can do a quick stab to the heart if their health is low enough.

How about the Ability to command a party with formations, and tactical planning, combined with AI that will try to protect there party, and themselves.

You could use a UT Bot command system where you press v and give a numberd comand.

EG:
1:Everyone
2:first enerty
3:Next enetery, and so on...

1: Attack!
2: Search and destory
3: Fall back
4: Im Hurt
Etc

These Partys get stelath killed and split up or leave once you come to a town. If they are a mercinary, you could hire him again, and maybe to add a frendship element, if you can keep him alive half the game, he may give a discount or be free at cost also opening another ending.

Wait, what?

It sounds like you're suggesting that your entire party gets reset every time you enter a town. That would get really annoying really fast.

Maybe you could have temporary companions that you escort or hire to escort you to another town, but having your entire party get stealth-killed/leave whenever you enter a town would defeat the purpose of having a party in the first place.

In any case, I don't think Lugaru is very team-oriented. It's more of a lone-army sort of game where it's you against the world at large. I would personally like to see this dynamic shift slightly.

Basically: I think the ability to have others to fight alongside you would be nice - but should always be secondary to Turner's main abilities. The most common reason to have someone with you would be to escort them (wherein they run to a safe distance at any sign of trouble, leaving you to fight unfettered) or they are escorting you (in which case they're probably going to kill most things faster than you can).

As much as having others fighting alongside you is comforting, having a small army of rabbits alongside you just doesn't fit well into what I think Lugaru should be. Nobody else might agree with me, but that's my opinion. Team dynamics really should be reserved for multiplayer.

That said, I think there should be something akin to 'God Mode', where you can make an army to fight for you, reshape terrain, make objects out of nothing... but that's a little too much to ask.

I think it would be great to have a few friends with you, at least in one level. For example:

Turner come across a village. They were friendly, and let him stay with them for a while. But the wolves found out where Tuner was and prepared to attack. Turner felt bad, because the wolves were coming on account of him. So, Turner stayed with the village to help them. The wolves attacked, and there were heavy losses. Then, all the surviving defenders arrayed themselves on the top of the village mount, called Tereth-Lumen, which means "Hill of Light", in the tongue of that land. There, Turner and the warriors of the village made their last stand. The wolves, relying on their strength in numbers, assaulted Tereth-Lumen with all their forces. The fighting was terrible that day, but Turner had the high ground, and the warriors stayed the oncoming of the wolves, and there was great slaughter among the them, their bodies mounding up, until their was a ring of bodies stacked on each other. Thus, the wolves were dismayed, and fled the battle with their tails between their legs. Therefore, Tereth-Lumen was ever after known as "Tereth-Lauroth", the Hill of Slaughter.

Sorry for the story, I just listened to the Silmarillion. but just think how cool this would be, on top of a huge mountain, with a band of brave rabbits, slaying wolf after wolf, their bodies mounding up around you. So I think it would be great if you could fight with a bunch of rabbits on different levels, then go solo for other levels.

One thing I'd like to see, not necessarily for lugaru 2, but for something, is a game with squad commands and such but your squad is just the same as the normal enemies except following your commands

I think Lugaru 2 shouldn't be too confined with sticking to its roots. Especially something like this which I think relates more to technology barriers than what's fun or not. It would be like not making Lugaru 2 a non linear game because the original consisted of linear stages. I think it's really hard to create friendly computer players that are fun to play with, but if David can create them that would make Lugaru 2 really awesome.

The wolf idea sounds cool. Maybe it would make them feel more ferocious to have to fight wolves with allies because of their difficulty. It sure sounds cool at least.

Random idea for Training misson:

Cut sceen/ingame movie: Turner Comes to a Old Burrial ground similar in aperance to the Origonal Training zone. Turner turns to a spot with an old grave. he kneels down infront of it, and begins to meditate. the Air gets mysty, and the eyes of old long deads gaze from all around him.
Turner stands and Turns to one of them. He converse with them for a moment, a very close, sad coversation, the Ghost begins the training misson.

after the Training misson the Mist dies down, and the Level tells you to exit though the same entry...

What would you guys say to a Supernatual Element added to the game?
It dose not have to dominate the game, but it could make the game interesting.

yeah that could be interesting, some ancestor of his, or maybe you could be a descendant turner and have his ghost train you, that would be interesting
