What's there to do?

Post by stikasasn » Fri Jun 10, 2011 9:04 pm

I've been watching all the updates posted on Gametrailers. I was wondering what there is to do in the game? I have no skill in designing levels and no idea how to program code whatever. lol. If i get the alpha is there any kind of missions or maybe other user created content i can play through that i can EASILY get access to. I'm usually a console gamer so it has to be pretty easy for me to use. lol durrrr.

THANKS

There's levels, and levels have enemies. You can beat all enemies. Then you can press 'x', and the enemies are alive again. Then you can fight them again. The combat is fun, but still quite simple. Beating a single enemy is easy once you understand the basics, beating two can be a challenge, three is always a challenge, anything over three is extremely difficult unless you run away, strike one of them if one gets a little ahead of the others, and then run away again. So if you're only interested in the amount of gameplay instantly available, you could wring that out in a few days, or a week at maximum. There are several levels available though.

You can add more enemies through a simple "Load Objects" screen. You can also add in weapons through the same screen, but weapon combat is in very early stages. It's very cool to hold a weapon, press the "slow-motion" button, and watch enemies die in slow motion. However, it's not cool enough to keep your interest for very long.

The other things to do are more in the scripting, modding, making custom level, modeling custom objects, etc. fields.

Cool, thanks for the info. I think I will wait for the full game.

I am brand new to the whole Wolfire and Overgrowth experience, but I would recommend you check out Lugaru. I just played the demo and it is really great, considering making a purchase.

Everything you see in the videos basically is what there is to do.
