The config file will NOT affect the resolution at all. It worked a while back but since a recent update it DOESN'T work. Can anybody help me? Yes, I pirated the alpha but I have every intention to support the game once it's released - I have a strange aversion to pre-ordering, don't ask why, it's just an odd quirk of mine. Thank you to anyone who helps me on this issue.

Are you sure it's the Config.txt in your Wolfire Documents?

Yup, the exact path is -
Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Wolfire > Overgrowth > Data > Config.txt
The config worked fine right up until I updated. I might just go the pre order route but what if it still doesn't work? I'd like to point out again that I DO buy full products.
There's no Wolfire path in my x64 program files, hence the 32bit directory.

No. Go to Documents/Wolfire/Data/Config.txt.
Edit that one.

As LugaruFan said, the config.txt has been relocated into a folder under Your Documents, in Windows. It happened a while ago, already, but since you're a filthy pirate I guess you don't actively follow the development.

I've watched all the videos up until Alpha 134, but thank you very much for this pro-tip! My Documents is packed so I would never have noticed it there .

I haven't pre-ordered, like I said I buy FULL products and I will buy the FULL game once it's released. Also I've been an avid fan since Lugaru was released years ago. I bought the Humble Indie Bundle when it was released too. So I'm only a filthy pirate to the extent of torrenting this alpha, I also download movies cos let's face it as much as the industry bitches and whines they make ENOUGH money, I buy games because the developers NEED money and with dev studios closing left right centre they are in obvious need of money. I just don't like pre-ordering stuff because, well, I'm a little odd I guess. But I bought Lugaru.

Guys relax, well I don't approve of his piracy necessarily he's just someone who wants to try out the game before it's made without having to pay money. he's said that he'll pay money and judging him's hardly going to change whether he buys it or not.

Why all the different coloured texts? trying to make yourself more unique?

No. I started orange in Community City 2.0 as a joke, but carried on... It's just this thread with all the different colours. If I was to type with colour it would probably be BLUE.
