this might have been said before but i think it would be real cool if Lugaru 2 had mounts (Not necicerly horses) but you could attack of mounts with swords and OH OH spears that would be awsome: do the good all cavalry charge: run someone through with the spear then draw your blade and kill the rest.
Just a thought.

What do you think anthropomorphic rabbits should ride?

How about... fly powered airplanes? You tie a whole bunch of flies to a stick, and then let them fly away. With you on the stick. Whoo!

Hmm... Well, there are no apparent non-anthropomorphic characters in Lugaru, so I don't know what mounts you could have without screwing up the game world.

You could always mount hawks.

Woohoo! I got back after finishing 3 days of hiking in Yosemite. That's 3 days of walking 12 hours a day with an old water filter, huge backpack, and a bear box filled with jerky and trail mix (Beef jerky may be the greatest dried food since raisins... cept raisins are lame).

This is something else off-topic but, I think I remember seeing that fly powered stick idea on channel 9. Yeah, some guy was able to freeze a bunch of flies and glue them ontop of paper airplanes, they flew pretty damn far.

As for mounts... piggyback rides! Yes it's a bit odd but that's what you get with an animal selection between anthropomorphic rabbits and wolves. Carrying someone while running around on two legs or better yet, carrying someone while running animal style on four. You bet that would be some fun teamwork, imagine doing that online. Crazy team based fighting to the max, finally, being the 'trusty' steed for once. The purpose? No clue! I just want to pick someone up and run.

Well, seeing as there is certainly need for horses or animals that serve the same needs... Why not do like Outcast (the game) and make your own riding/carrying animal? <_<
>_>

I'll miss horses ;_;
And variety of animals throughout the different locations of the world >_>

But oh, well.

Lol. Isn't that the solution to everything? "What did you just ask me? Actually, nevermind, just use robots. Next."

And, how about...dare I say it? Tamed wolves. Mush! :shock:

And, about what Silb said, I don't think there's one of us who hasn't wanted to hitch a ride on the hawk. Don't lie.

Also, to put that idea to use in things like team deathmatches, there could be some type of medic's tent, so if you saw a downed ally around the place who wasn't killed off completely, you could bring them to the medic's tent by giving them a piggyback there. Once there, they'd obviously get patched up, ready for some more fighting, but obviously not 100%. There'd have to be some distinguishable way of knowing whether or not an ally was dead, though. I guess I should be putting this in the random ideas thread.
