Why spear throwing is same as a dagger or sword? ... rotating spear sucks

It is so because this is a alpha there is only 1 person that makes all the code and animations to the Overgrowth. Yes there is an artist that makes all the models but i don't think that he makes animations for them.

You know what else sucks? The fact that you pirated the game and feel like you have a right to complain

Yes, it's very unlikely that he saw the spear get thrown in a video. Likely a pirate, but there's a small chance he just saw it in a video.

In hopes of bringing the discussion back from piracy (which is bad and all those who have done it should be ashamed). If spears were to be thrown properly this is how I think they could work. The animation could be longer and leave you vulnerable. Also the range could be shortened so that enemies would have something like a 40% chance of reaching you. this would balance the greater force of a spear hit.

See, just in a video. Yeah, I'm sure it'll be changed later. It is an alpha after all.

That's not even the most recent example of spear throwing. The current way is much better, though there still isn't a dedicated animation for it.

in my opinion about that Ironhearted .., i think its because its the same ,easy to throw weapons like that...
