I agree. I just think cheese is generally tasty, especially red cheese (which is a bullshit thing for me to say, because both red and white cheeses TASTE THE SAME). But yeah, "cheese" is an overused source of randomness, and people might do better to place a bit of inventiveness into their work, like maybe "amphibious rhinoceros" or "frisky spondulicks".

Cheese? Who the hell decided cheese was the most random thing humanity had to offer?

F**k cheese.

ok nevermind.

Yes, the reason I chose cheese was because it was about the most commonly used source of false randomness in the entire universe!

-- And poking.

Anyweh. Any living being would instinctively respond to pain, such as jerking away or grabbing it if the first option isn't doable/is useless. Unless they're errornuts. Braincramped. Or whatever. Retarded is the word, in case you wondered. Mentally retarded. Or just a little bit special. (Yay for Steve Lynch.)

"Errornut?" .. I like that one.

I think that we all agree that there should be a way to prevent Turner from standing there stupidly and then falling dead from blood loss. Makes sense, eh?

Also, a completely random idea since this topic is already kinda off topic:

Wall jumping in L2 should be fluent, not like the kinda thing where you jump-flip and lose half of your speed, then fall. I mean like if you jump going forward you should be able to keep your trajectory and do a short kick off that sends you towards the other wall without losing grace or speed. I guess I got this idea from N since the walljumping there is useful enough to make it worth doing.

(Not that I'm saying wallkick doesn't own... :D )

Mmmm, N, probably the best game ever that was done in flash 8)

And in some levels it's actually really fun to bounce around gracefully, but few levels make that possible, at least not for me

It's when you jump off the wall while kicking someone at the same time. Thus earning you STYLE bonus, heck yes.

Pfft, I KNOW what a wallkick is. I was hoping for some response like "WTF YOU DON'T KNOW WALLKICKS N00B N00B N00B HEATHEN YARGH" so I could laugh. :(
