Would it be possible to import objects into overgrowth using google sketchup. If it is would they already have hitboxes pre done or would i have to make them myself somehow.

PS: Before you call me a pirate i don't have the game yet on my compouter in any way shape or form. thanks for the help. :)

I am not familiar with that program but as long as it can export or save a 3d model into .obj format then you can make all the models you want for Overgrowth. I want to also point out that you also need to make a .xml file that contains all the file paths to the object file itself and some important textures like normal map, weight map and color map, also shader.

You should be able to. If you cant off of vanilla sketchup just get some plugins and you'll be good. Also, if you haven't tried sketchup much before, I recommend a different program unless you just want to make more mechanical models. Sketchup isn't very good for making more smooth natural models. That's just in my experience though.

It probably works. Collision models are optional, and I've only ever defined collision meshes for weapons. Depending on how Sketchup works the models might have unnecessary vertices which would slow down the physics calculations. If that's the case, making separate collision objects would be worthwhile. They might be automatically generated for static objects though (anything that isn't a weapon), but I'm not really sure about that.
