True, we want to help you, but please preorder and ask the question in the Secret Preorder Forum. Ah... low moments.

Re: can't find the config.txt file
I think it's quite sad that as soon as people believe that someone else has pirated the game, they deny all form of warming support they could give to the person. I, for one, did not preorder the game solely for the game itself, but for the whole community that came along with it.
Seeing as "lordmarik" here is a potential customer (he has even taken the time to look up the actual product, as a form of reassurance before purchasing the game), shouldn't we help him and let him have an optimal game experience, rather than denying him support and freeze him out of the community? If I were in his position, that would so much more convince me to preorder the game like the rest of you.
For the record, "lordmarik". If this is about performance-issues, that shouldn't be a problem. If you, at any time (I believe, until the actual release) would regret your purchase, you could easily Email the developers at [[email protected]], requesting a refund.

I concur, Freshbite. This place is starting to look as unfriendly as the dark corners of the randomness forum.
Guys! Wake-up call! This is the Wolfire forum you're in! Keep it helpful please.

besides that he didn't even specify what game, maybe he's downloaded black shades and lugaru, and he's looking in the wolfire folder for the config file to blackshades.
Re: can't find the config.txt file
Thank you, Roland. Let's start with trying to figure out which game he's on about, shall we?
I mean, does Overgrowth even have a config.txt file? Honestly.

OK, but where goes the line that says no more help for a pirate who may be a potential buyer who asks for help.
Also everyone who can understand English and know how to use Google.com can have access to the information on the OG's wiki. Its up to them to search all the "secrets" from there.
Internet is a powerful thing that you have to learn how to use it.

Re: can't find the config.txt file
You're missing the point. This guy didn't actually specify he was looking for Overgrowth's config.txt file, so his lack of preorderer tag does in fact not even imply that he is one of the pirate legion.
Therefore, jumping up with pirate pics and vids and accusations is in fact completely uncalled for and terribly rude.
