So.... I remember looking at some verbiage some time ago that the hardware req's for Overgrowth were in a state of flux due to development. That's all fine and good. What I'm wondering is if my particular hardware has any chance of running the game. Is there a tech demo thingy, short of the alpha pre-order itself, that can check my hardware?
Or, anyone else got a clue? I have an HP laptop, with onboard Intel GMA 945 (I think) graphics card running under linux (ubuntu 10.04).
Any help on this?

Intel GMA 945/950 Not Working
So that's a negative - sorry. Generally speaking, integrated video cards are completely useless for anything but browser-based flash games or games from many moons ago.

Re: Hardware requirements
thanks for the quick reply. Bummer about the answer, though.
Re: Hardware requirements
You are wrong about that. I have a laptop with integrated Intel video card that can run OG. There are some problems like weird shadow blobs and sky texture, oh and low FPS while there is dripping blood effects but it can run OG.Garabaldi wrote:Generally speaking, integrated video cards are completely useless for anything but browser-based flash games or games from many moons ago.

From the wiki it doesn't look like there's much hope. Maybe in some far-flung future, if I ever upgrade, I'll think about the game again.
