Is if the combat is any easier than Lugaru? I am already going to preorder it when I have money (don't get it often, taking money out of my steam sale fund).

The combat is about the same as far as difficulty goes, but it is much easier so learn, looks much better, and a lot more fun.

Yeah, it's a tad easier than in Lugaru. Easier to learn, that's for sure.
