Is there any mods for Overgrowth that help the fps?

Depends on what causes lag for you.
Is it always lagging? Sorry, mods won't help. The final release will probably be faster, but that's going to take a while.
Is it only lagging in specific levels? For example, the desert maps that only have few rocks and no plants tend to be faste, while forests and such are slowerr.
Does it only appear with blood? There's a mod that can disable blood.
On the secret forum you can find BloodMod, SUMLauncher etc. Bloodmod can be used to disable blood, and SUMLauncher is a fan-made graphical interface for changing settings. There isn't that much to change yet, though.

Ahem.
On a sidenote, we don't habitually give support for this game outside the Secret Preorder Forum, to which one would typically have access after preordering. (Note the Preorderer tags ->)
In there is also where you would find these helpful addons.

On a sidenote, I do habitually share information to those who ask, as long as that information is as generic as "games run faster when there's less stuff on screen."

You forgot to post how he actually gets preorder tag, then. It isn't that clear IMO.

It doesn't have to be. Once one preorders they get a good solid mail with lots of detailed instructions on that subject, and if that confuses one then they should ask about that.
This character has not asked about that.

Can someone please direct me to the mod that disables blood? I know I haven't gotten the game yet, but I just want to make sure that I have found the disable blood mod first.
Anyone???

Since alpha 200 there is options for disabling blood in the config file, or you can use SUM launcher to disable it.
There is new alpha out and this means that i have to update my blood mod. All the mods are in the modding subforum in the Secret Preorder Forum, look for Last's Blood Mod / no death mod.
