no more alpha updates? :(

Was just wondering why there hasn't been one for about a month and a bit now. I know they've been working on some other projects and stuff but at this rate the game wont come out until 2014 at the earliest :'( (although it will be amazing when it does)

They are doing bigger, more important updates, because videos were slowing them down, so it's actually being developed faster, and we will see more cool and important updates. There will still be alphas, just fewer and further between.

What he said. Also, they've been doing the stuff that can be shown in videos easily for a long time, and there's other things that are hard to show.

For example, if they're working on the AI, they won't have any single new features to single out, but a more complex AI. And that isn't easy to demonstrate on a video, without capturing several fights and explaining them in detail.

I think it's best that they hold off on the alpha updates a bit so that making the videos won't be as time consuming for them. It would be really hard for them to keep a schedule of weekly alpha updates and also keep to the time they set for developing the game.
