The folks who make Spam to eat (on purpose) built a whole museum on Spam. It's really quite well done, with lots of actual museum-type info.
They even have a recreation of the Green Midget Cafe, with a TV running the MP skit continuously.
It's actually pretty cool; they know what their image is, and they don't take themselves too seriously.
Plus, they know they're gonna sell a ton of Spam, no matter how funny people think it is. It's especially popular in Hawaii, partially due to an old taboo involving pork.
There's even Spam sushi. (Or would it be sashimi?)
And the gift shop is enormous; you can get anything you can imagine with a Spam logo.
America is such a great place.
