I don't quite understand what do you mean by "upload a custom map into overgrowth". Is it sharing your map with others, here in forum, or do you want your custom map to appear in the main menu?

There is a mod that you may have heard of. With this tool you have access to Community Content Browser List where you can download custom maps and mods made by other community members.

Tou can use SUMLauncher to get user-created maps.
