Hey guys. About a year or so ago I preordered overgrowth and I hadn't accessed that Wolfire-Forum account in quite some time. I went to log-in but my password didn't work and I use that password for most things. Of course I thought nothing of it until I attempted to log in to my email to retrieve the resent password.

My email had been hacked and due to my terrible security measures I had no way to log back into it. This of course was likely because I bought The War Z and I'm sure you've heard of they're recent hacker problem. I swear that was the worst purchase I've ever made.

So with no way to log back into my email, or no way to log back into the Wolfire-Forums I've gotten myself into a rather sticky situation. Is there anyway you could help me so that I don't lose $60 for nothing?

You can email [email protected] and they can help you clear things up. Ideally, if you still have your transaction ID (which you can still get from your payment provider, i.e. Paypal) they can locate your account easily.

Not related to the question, but here's an extremely important tip. Never have your email password the same as any other password. Once you get an account hacked on a forum or a game, people test those usernames+passwords on emails and other sites. So if you get one account hacked, you could get them all hacked.
