I just got my password reset, is there a way I can change it to a more preferable password?

I hope that you are talking about your forum account password.
To change your forum account password you have to be logged in to this forum.
Now you see there is this in almost at the top of the page "Board index ‹ Wolfire Games ‹ Wolfire"
And just right below of that there is "User Control Panel (0 new messages) • View your posts FAQ Members Logout"
All you have to do is click on the "User Control Panel" link and you then have to navigate to the "profile" tab and click on the "Edit account settings" menu there.
