I don't think topics should be locked unless there it seems really necessary; I think this one is ok. Also, it might be better to start a new thread than contributing to one that is already 23 pages long 
Anyways, on topic, I have been very busy with contract work and school, and my contract work is under NDA so I can't really update the blog about that. However, it is helping me sharpen my graphics programming skills, which may help make up some of the time that it is taking up.
