In-game graphics options

Post by WrathSurge » Sun Sep 15, 2013 7:47 pm

Hi, I love Overgrowth, but I feel that a game (even if it is a pre-order) that charges $30 should at least have the ability to change the graphics in game. As we very well know even the tiniest bit of lag can ruin the flow of combat so those of us with slower computers end up getting the shaft, and I hate having to play the game in slow-mo all the time. An update to change that would make me weep with joy and I hope you guys can seriously consider it because I feel it is a very dire issue that needs to be addressed.

It's an alpha!
And you can change most of the settings in the config, or by using the SUMLauncher. Most of them don't make much difference anyway. The only ones that help me to reduce stutters in certain areas are removing the blood and the detail objects.
You should activate your account in order to use it on the Secret Preorder Forum. I think if you had you would not have created this thread.

What he said. The config text file can be tricky to change, but the fan-made SUMlauncher makes it easy to change settings.
