Slow motion bug

Post by Kilobytez95 » Thu Oct 03, 2013 2:50 pm

There is a bug in the latest version of the game where if you hit tab fast enough the game freezes up. The audio still plays but the game is paused and you can't get out of it also CPU usage drops to 0%.

Well... First, get your Secret Preorder Tag, second, that's not a bug, it's an intended feature.
I don't really want to tell you how to fix it though, preorder tag.

Why the fuck would that be an intended feature? It is a problem that pisses me off.

Pressing tab twice stops the game. That's a feature.

The fact that there's no indication that the game is stopped is bad design. Not a bug, but a problem nonetheless.

I think he is not talking about a crash, but about the time stop feature. He just assumed that it's a crash because he wasn't aware of it.

It's not like it says "Alpha version" on the homepage, right? We have a final product here!

I know, I was talking about the time stop feature. I don't think he was talking about a crash either.

The camera is still active when time is frozen still (so hit escape to get out of the character) and you can use that for screen captures. It also allowed David to see animations with greater detail (as he mentioned in the video when he introduced the feature.)
