Not only does it insult the person you are talking to, but it makes you hungry for pink cake (I don't know why pink, I just think of pink cake)

Newb is when someone asks a really dumbass question like, "how do turn on the flash light?" or, "what button diffuses the bomb," you get called a newb for that. Nub is just when you're bad at the game and in the chat you're talking smack, "be quiet now nub cakes, nobody likes you." N00b has nothing to do with skill, in fact the person who is called a noob probably isn't a noob, it's the guy who called him a noob that is. Like if you are killed by someone with the AWP (god a hate that weapon) you call the guy who sniped you a n00b for using a n00b weapon even though you're using an auto shotgun. CS sucks, I hate that game.

i've heard the word "froob" i think it meant high level noob, ok
noob: somone who annoys people, or somone no one really likes becuse it's there own fault.
newb: somone who is low level, and dosen't know quite what to do.

I dont get it . Noobs can also be people who have no life and that they take the game seriously. The real noobs are the ones who dont use the word noob .
