What the f*ck?
First of all, if you're on any Mac, you will not use exes.
What Mac do you have?
Lighting Shadow will not work on MacOSX (which includes Tiger).

What? Lightning's shadow has always worked for me on tiger. No classic or anything.

Well, maybe I have some kind of crazy modified version, because I can guarantee that it's running on tiger with no classic.
EDIT: 1 google search turned up an OSX version on versiontracker.

Why does the LS page say it's for Classic only

Yep, LS does indeed have a Carbon binary, or whatever you'd call it.
Just not on wolfire.com, I guess…

You sound like a PC user who's never used a mac in their life acting as if they have one, to be honest.
It might just be your wording, however.

But it IS the version on Wolfire that is Carbonized, it's just mislabeled
as Classic only for some reason.

Meh, research sucks.
Then again, if nobody knows it took a long time for you to do it… Man, it's just like presenting a ludicrously long legal mumbo jumbo scroll to someone…
