Putting the debug commands into a proper context would be sweet. It could make you feel like a god who was shaping a new world.

I always liked the DM mode in Neverwinter Nights. Invisible, super-fast, could place creatures in the 'void', possess them, spawn monster groups, place and change static objects, heck, if a DM was bored enough, they could make an entire castle, fill it with monsters and make a story about it, on the fly, while people were actually playing...

It would be awesome to be able to do all this sort of stuff in L2, (except for maybe the invisible and super-fast), only having visual effects attached to the various actions - similar to what you're suggesting, NovaNoah.

It might not be all that hard as far as work goes, either... from what I understand of morph targets, it's considerably easier to do that sort of stuff.

Yeah that was exaclty what i was thinking, although i don't have enough intellect to actually describe it :), Kind of like age of mythology's game editor.

Teleporting would be useful aswell, faster than running and flying everywhere.

*aims*
*fires teleporting magic*
*teleports*

Not like portal.

That would be hard to make.

Just point and click and you're there.

Yeah but were talking about god mode here, not running around in the body of a Rabbit. in god mode you use you're mouse to steer the screen around the map, so there is no use for teleporting

..?

No, that's the level editor, I was suggesting an ingame "fun-mode" like the current map editor.

Portals would be fun in any game.

Prey rocked.

Portal will be rocking when I actually get around to playing it I hope.

This fun mode sounds a little fun if a little pointless.
