WHY ARE WE DOING THIS???

Ahem...

I don't like the top-down, no-interaction editors like that.

There should be a 'sandbox mode', or something, so you can run around as Turner and do mega-awesome stuff like NovaNoah described in his first post. It could be called Wizard Mode. Better yet, you could have it available in multiplayer...

Just think about that for a sec... alright, there would be no 'wins', and no 'losses', but the players could define their own, and just start creating junk, like making huge armies of rabbits, and pitting them against each other, and whichever player has an opposing rabbit close enough first, 'loses'. And you could have mazes, and strategic locations for certain rabbits to go.... *drool*...

I think we should go with both.

An ingame editor for those who want to mess around with the various "powers"

And a normal editor for those who want to make the kind of levels you just can't with the ingame editor.

Yup, that works. Although it would be nice to be able to toggle the menus, maybe have some transparency, and needing to Ctrl-(or Command-)click items to activate them. Just throwing out ideas.

Populous - The Beginning it is called. Reviewers found this to be better than the predecessors - I disagree though.

Well, it's not like I would've got my hands on it if it were for Mac anyway…

Maybe I should go find a manual for Populous II, then maybe it'll be even more fun to destroy entire enemy settlements with the deadly Lower Terrain power…
