Brain-Computer Interfaces for innovative game design?

Hello,

I really liked Receiver's procedurally-generated levels and permadeath features.

You seem like a team which might be willing to experiment with out-of-the-box ideas. Such as developing a Brain-Computer Interface for a new game title. Here's what can be done with existing EEG headsets and a well-known game such as WoW:

and some more no-hands gameplay, using a different EEG headset:

In these videos, the EEG headset was used instead of a keyboard/mouse. But imagine how much more can be achieved if one were to create a game specifically designed for playing it with a similar headset? In addition to conventional keyboard/mouse, or something like the Hydra, or a Motion Capture suit such as the "Perception Neuron"? The amount of additional hardware can be variable.

During the week, I'm a software developer (at a computer vision company), but I have been researching the aforementioned ideas as a hobby for several months, and done some experimenting with the Emotiv EPOC headset and OpenVibe SDK. Still far from creating a "Full-Dive" device such as the fictional Nerve Gear, but I believe this area has potential for the future of the game industry, but one that can be reached only by full-time work of a passionate team of people.

Let me know what you think!
