I had to look that up, I really had no idea what IRC meant. Its basically another form of internet chatting, usually in large rooms full of people.
irc.wolfire.com is the server, you can join it using an IRC chat application (such as X-Chat) or a java based IRC chat app through your web browser (Google can help you find all sorts of free websites).
#wolfire is the channel or "room" that you join so you can spam hateful comments and troll people you don't know....I mean chat with people.
Once you've joined the irc.wolfire.com server type "/join #wolfire" to connect to the room.
