Following the precedent set by ThePingu, who should totally post more , I'll post a bit of music. Now, this wasn't composed expressly for Overgrowth; it's a melody I'd had rattling around in the back of my head for a couple of years (there are a bunch of those back there, more or less waiting for something to be used for). A couple of days before I preordered, Overgrowth inspired me to finally put it down on paper and work it up in Ableton. I haven't elaborated past the initial melody so far, since all the actual game music has already been composed and I'm not sure what I'd use this for.

Anyway, I'll give you some Distance.

(P.S. I don't have anything resembling professional, balanced monitors or headphones, so sorry if the EQing kills your ears, lol)

That's a really nice melody you have there Disco Science, I really like it!

About the "not being sure what to use it for" part; well there will be loads mods for OG and I'm sure one or more of those would find a good place to fit in that melody. Having custom music in a mod can really make it feel more complete.

Hi guys, here's a new piece of fan art that I've been working on in between other stuff:



It was inspired by a song called Dog's Blood by Alexisonfire, which has some interesting lyrics if you think about them in terms of Overgrowth.

As cool as that picture looks, it looks more like the wolf has grey skin rather than having any fur. (or it almost looks like wood with cuts in it...)

I sketched this ages ago, but was never quite sure what I was going to do with it. The other day I found the sketch again and just decided to experiment, ending up with my current desktop background.
