Nothing was impolite about what I said. I was stating facts and voicing opinions. Just because you want to get upset and throw a hissy fit over it doesn't mean I'm impolite. If you can't take criticism, don't bother posting.ChiefX wrote:If you don't like it, than you could say it in a more polite way. I could make another version and remove it.
I love Lugaru, I'm really excited with Overgrowth, and I respect the work of Wolfire by making this teaser poster, and you come up with some senseless criticism about "subtitles".

I'm sorry that I got upset, but your way to say that you didn't like the subtitle wasn't the most polite way. That wasn't constructive criticism, saying that it's "not up to me to decide about it". You could say something like "it doesn't fit, because...".
I don't know if it was actually a joke or not, but I felt a bit offended, as I did this for the community, and then you think I wanted to improve the game or something like that.

Okay, I apologise, mister. I take the fact that you're trying to do something for the community, and I respect that. I don't do too much, so I suppose I can't really talk. I just didn't like the way you added a subtitle without consulting anyone from the team. People might get the wrong idea and think the game has a different name to what it has. It's not exactly a big problem but it just irked me for some reason. I was wrong to react the way I did though, sorry for giving you a bad first impression of the forums.

Re: Fan Art
Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have brought up the subtitle in the first place.
Re: Fan Art
Phew, I'm glad this little argument is resolved now, I also apologise for my rude tone in the third post
As for the subtitle, I removed it and I'll upload the new pic. And I'll add to the description of the old pic, that the subtitle isn't official.

Re: Fan Art
This may be the first or one of the first arguments resolved via apology on these forums. Ever.
If not that, then probably the first (or, dare I say it, one of the first) argument(s) ever resolved via apology by R_T on these forums. Or on any forum for that matter.

I seem to recall several others, I'd post a link but I'm sleepy, lazy, and a little strange right now.

You didn't need to change the image though, I feel like a dick now. lol
And I think I apologised before...once...maybe.
Re: Fan Art
Well, "considering" that your mind could comprehend a slight idea of the difference between lugaru and overgrowth, you would see that they are almost two different games. Turner could go to a new Island, or this could be Turners great-great-great grandson, turner the VI. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.Sartan wrote:Time to nitpick! Given the size of the hawk in relation to Turner back in Lugaru, and our knowledge that only mammals mutated, I fear that such a situation as bird-riding would be completely impossible. But it's sure as hell pretty.

Re: Fan Art
Overgrowth takes merely a few years after Lugaru. Turner's family were all killed in Lugaru. Turner never had a son, only a daughter. This is, of course, unless one of his family member had, say, ran away before the slaughter.
We're pretty sure the protagonist is going to be Turner...

I suppose you meant something with that cough, although I fail to recognise your goal.
