Derakon, I'd bet you, apple to an acorn, that OG is going to be bigger then that.
Furthermore, they wouldn't go on stinkin' xbox live. They'd go full-blown game.
OG on consoles?
Re: OG on consoles?
The problem with going full-blown game is that you have to deal with the physical media -- getting discs pressed, packaging made, convincing stores to put the game (created by a no-name indie gaming company, a complete unknown) on their shelves...it's hard and a big risk. It is of course doable -- Alien Hominid's a good example of a game that pulled it off -- but things like XBLA and Wiiware are a lot more approachable.
Also, I'll take that bet.

Then again XBLA's limit is 350 megs and Wiiwares is 40 megs. If you take a game that is big on tons of geometry, data, and textures like stalker or bioshock you can't put game like that on XBLA or Wiiware unless you cut it into small episodes, let alone PSN.Derakon wrote: It is of course doable -- Alien Hominid's a good example of a game that pulled it off -- but things like XBLA and Wiiware are a lot more approachable.
