It iz ay werd.
A variation to the one-to-two syllable outcry of general agreement or continuance.
As in, 'kai', 'okai', 'kie', 'k', 'koi', 'okeh','kk', 'euhkay', 'okay', 'OK', and plenty more.

"Kay" is another variation of the same kind.
I prefer to use "Kai".

"kai" would make a different sound though. It wouldn't be "okay" anymore. *Shrugs* Do what you want.
