Same here... too bad they didn't make another... then again, I wonder if it would have been as good as the first one.
EDIT: Live and Reloaded doesn't count.

Why not? Its just as good as the original, sure there's censoring (Rather odd censoring, it was like they randomly drew swear words from a hat and censored those but not others, so there was some rather obvious cussing getting through), but that didn't keep me from enjoying the remake. Plus, multiplayer was rather fun (and you could "unlock" the uncensored dialogue for multiplayer by beating the single player game).
Blame Microsoft for not letting them release it as "Live and Uncut" like they were originally planning.

Because that wasn't a sequel, that was a remake

I should have clarified that.
They could have gone into how Conker ends up not becoming king, or something.

I think it would be nice if they had a new protagonist, and Conker was the villain this time round.
He certainly doesn't look like the good guy anymore after the ending. :/

Yes, I have many questions for the creators.
Queston 1: What were you smoking when you created this world?
Queston 2: Where could I find some?

heh
i don't care what anyone says
i enjoyed both versions of Conker
and when i was younger, i even enjoyed Pocket Tales
^_^
anyways
as to the release date for Overgrowth
i wouldn't expect anything other than Q1/Q2 until about a month before release, when everything's finished and they're more sorting out all the minor stuff
Lugaru's official release date wasn't announced until about a week before it was, if i remember correctly...just estimated to a certain month with no guarantees that it was going to happen before the end of the month
so be prepared for the same to happen, except maybe a month instead, seeing as they've got to have a release date for Steam however far before the official release
HOWEVER, those that pre-ordered are going to have a much better idea of the actual release, seeing as they get to test each stage of development as it's finished
