Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper
speaking of mean jokes on windows, you can replace peoples desktop shortcuts with shortcuts to the shutdown thingy (forget what it's called) and give them the same icon as the other shortcuts, so if someone clicks it it shuts down their computer. really annoying.
Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper
That is extremely evil, and yet extremely genius.
It is very rare for me to add these two adjectives to the same object.

Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper
I noticed that you didn't save it as a 100 quality Jpeg, so there are noticeable grainy spots along the edges of the logo.
Could you, perhaps, save a 1280x800 scale version as a 100 quality jpeg, or perhaps even a BMP or some other higher quality image format? I quite like having my nice, smooth, minimalistic wolfire logo background actually look nice and smooth.

Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper
I really love the wolfire desktop. I've been using it for about a week now.
I was wondering ... I've been using the same creepy alienware screen saver for sometime now and my room mate hates it. could someone make a Wolfire screen saver? maybe something to do with the Wilfire emblem and some flames? like in the videos? ... I wouldn't have any idea how to do anything like that ... but I'd love to have something like it

I find it good for keeping my desktop clear
Anyways it's a nice wallpaper
Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper

Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper
I made one myself, using GIMP (2.6).
I used the Wolfire logo from the press page and a brushed metal texture from some-place on the 'net.
It's 1280x800, so it's not really very large; I mostly just made it for myself, and as a personal exercise. Still, feel free to use it.
I'm thinking of re-doing the shadow, which was really just thrown in last minute to set the logo apart from the back-ground.
Edit: Looking at it now, there seems to be some errant white pixels. I'll see if I can remove them later, without disturbing the image too much.
Edit2: Here's the modified version. I also fixed up the shadows, which were very rushed.

Re: Wolfire Desktop Wallpaper
Jeff and some other guy introduced me to Webkit in the IRC the other day, so I remade my background picture in Webkit, just for lols. Here is the result:

Here's a picture of the stuff:
The only thing that's not Webkit is the logo itself, even the reflection of the logo is Webkit!
Feel free to grab the source and do whatever you like with it.
