for debug mode, you open the config.txt and turn show fps to 1 on windows, or on mac you change debug to 1. and save it with a simple text extension.

I think it should have a sequel though... that'd be epicness.

This isn't the first time I've quoted David on this, but he has mentioned a Black Shades 2:
David wrote:Black Shades 2 is definitely on the list of games I would like to make.

Unfortunately, it is not a short list.
So basically, there will most probably eventually be a Black Shades 2, but also probably many more insanely awesome games in-between ;)

It means that we're not going to see Black Shades 2 in our lifetime because the list is so long.

David has immortality due to overload of awesome and 1337, so that's not a problem.

Is that not unfortunately?

likely he knows that black shades 2 already would have a standing fans list ready to pay money for it, but there are many other games he'd like to make first. which may not have quite the same amount of fans base or publicity.

No, it means we'll have different awesomeness, and more and more of it.

That means Wolfire's got a kickass future, and so have we, 'cos we support them and play their games!

Where does "Unfortunately" come in?

The "Unfortunately" means that Black Shades 2 may very well not follow immediately after Overgrowth, but rather after other, also awesome games, hence it's unfortunate if you're dying to see a Black Shades 2 'right away' :P

Which, in particular, I am not.

So I see your point, I just don't agree with it =D

I'd love to see Wolfire's take on the mech sim genre (David mentioned it as a possibility, somewhere). MW2:Mercs is towards the top of my list of favourite games.

I'd also like to see this not-very-short list of possible future Wolfire projects.
