he left out one minor detail- They plan to have PPC support, but as of now it isn't supported in the alpha (I believe the person responsible for that aspect of development is busy)

The support will be implemented, don't you worry about that.
The access to the SPF is quite redeeming in itself, alphas or no alphas; you can follow the process and awesomesauce. ;)

I can assure you of two things:
1. It is definitely worth it to pre-order Lugartoo. (Overgrowth)

2. You will be able to play Lugartoo once it is fully completed.

So will the end product be able to run on an ibook G4? If it will then I may as well pre order the game now.

I am 99% sure you will.
The team has excessively stated they will broaden support for all platforms, and add visual options for optimisation so older computers may also enjoy the brilliance that is Lugartoo.

It is way too early to guarantee support for specific old computers, an iBook G4 is probably pushing it. However, if it does not work for you, we are more than happy to refund your purchase. It sucks to buy stuff and not have it work. That's why we are proud to offer a very generous "return" policy.

Our only request is please don't spam SPF with complaints that the latest build does not work on your alpha. Once is enough. :)

Ah?
Have I made a fool of myself again?
Could this be because I misinterpreted your goals, or was I completely dreaming it off? =E

*slumps off to his personal little corner of shame*
